Not too long ago, the mainstream methods of English education were "learning by rote" and "katakana English". However, starting in 2011, English became an essential compound in elementary schools and the official language for many businesses. English learning methods also changed with language acquisition focusing on "practical use". Here at Conant English Academy/Conant International Preschool, our native English speaking teachers and Japanese teachers all strive to connect the joy of communication and understanding with the passion to use more English. We offer two types of programs, courses and classes. Courses utilize immersion techniques with multiple lessons per week. Classes focus on conversation and meet once a week. Reservations for trial lessons can be made by either telephone or email, so please don't hesitate to contact us and experience a class for yourself.
